These other third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information to or through them.

You understand and agree that, by accessing the Site, you are accepting, without modification, this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any portion of this Privacy Policy, then you must not use the Site. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

We collect both Personal Information and non-personal information about you. “Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, can reasonably be associated with, or can reasonably be linked to you, either on its own or combined with other information that we have or can readily obtain. Non-personal information is information that is not Personal Information. If we connect non-personal information to Personal Information about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us, we will treat such combined information as Personal Information.

The information we collect may include the following categories of Personal Information, depending on your interactions with the Site and the choices you make:

  • Identifiers, such as name, postal address, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, or other similar identifiers.

SomeraRoad only collects sensitive Personal Information, as defined by applicable privacy laws, for the purposes allowed by law or with your consent. SomeraRoad does not collect or process sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

Information You Provide to Us

When you visit, access or use the Site, you may provide us with Personal Information or non-personal information. This information includes:

Cookies

How Long We Retain Your Personal Information

SomeraRoad will retain your Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the legitimate business purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Additionally, we may continue to store your Personal Information contained in any of our back-up systems. This applies to all categories of Personal Information in use by us.

Your Rights and Choices Regarding Your Personal Information

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information. Subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law, you may have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information in our custody and control and withdraw your consent to our collection of your Personal Information. Do Not Track Signals

Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the preferences or settings page of your web browser. These features are not yet uniform, however, so we do not currently respond to such features or signals.

Marketing Communications

If you have supplied your email address, you agree that we may send you emails to provide you with information, to inform you of new services or offerings, to solicit your feedback, or to keep you up to date about SomeraRoad and our services. 

You may choose not to receive marketing communications from us. To unsubscribe from marketing communications, please click the “unsubscribe” link included in our marketing emails (in the case of emails) or contact us through one of the various methods provided in the Contact Us section.  Please note that even if you choose not to receive marketing communications from us, you still may receive communications regarding any other service-related issues and updates that will allow us to provide you with the optimal user experience and other matters that are primarily not marketing.

To the extent that you provide or transmit any information including, but not limited to, any Personal Information and any information that identifies any other individual (including without limitation name, email address and/or telephone number), to SomeraRoad or our third-party service or data providers, licensors, or distributors (“Representatives”) through the Site, you warrant that: (a) you are providing only your own information or the information of others which you are authorized to provide to third parties; and (b) the use of such information by SomeraRoad and its Representatives will not infringe upon or misappropriate the intellectual property rights or otherwise violate the rights of any third parties.

How We Safeguard Your Information

The security of your data is important to us. We take reasonable measures aimed to protect the security and integrity of your Personal Information but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its security. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. By using the Site, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Policy on Children’s Information

The Site is not created or intended for anyone under the age of 18 (“Children” or “Child”). By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If you do not meet this age requirement, then you must not access or use the Site.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18, and we do not target the Site to Children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us though one of the methods listed under “How to Contact Us” above. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from Children without verification of parental consent, we take reasonable steps to remove that information from our servers.
